April Lockhart (born July 4 in 1995) began her musical journey at the age of 7 when she took guitar and piano lessons. April's very first song was called Different which she composed at 12 years of age. In her 14th year April was a big devotee of her time to writing and practicing songs. In the following months, April started to take trips across NY and LA along with her dad to help them compose songs. April also added additional themes to the tune "Take My Hand" for a few of her the friends she had who struggled with issues such as peer pressurization disabilities, and even teens who committed suicide. Lockhart, a popular lifestyle blogger and working in partnerships with clean-cut beauty brands Ilia she has gained a large audience. The disability she has is part of her personality, but it is not the whole image. Lockhart's Instagram page doesn't overlook her handicap. But it also doesn't emphasize her disability. The point? There is more to us than the physical person we are. Our identities are multifaceted and encompass a variety of elements. Lockhart said via video that she didn't want to be defined by her physical disability. She does not want to become an advocate for disabled people who only talks about that. There are a lot of aspects of Lockhart. This doesn't influence my day-to-day activities. I go about my business as usual and have developed different ways of adapting. The same is true for my personality, and that it is something to be talked about. Lockhart, a real inspiration for self-acceptance in general, is on a long journey to achieve the goal. Still, she acknowledges going through phases of insecurity with her body, and also feeling uneasy wearing certain clothing styles which exposed her arms. She is able to wear anything she wants, and she is proud to share photos of herself wearing these clothes. The journey itself is the most important thing. I don't know that will ever be the end of self-love. This is true for everyone regardless of their degree of self-confidence. It's essential to have those around you who are aware of and understand your situation. They'll be the ones asking your: What are you worry about?
