Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four kids born August 9, 1976, in Beaumont Puy in Domme. Her parents were dentists and a teacher recognised and supported her love of acting and theatre at an early age, which was more important than a desire to become a primatologist due to her fascination with monkeys. She rose to prominence as a child actress quickly and with great popularity and success. Following her studies in 1998 she was a participant in the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors before beginning the journey to become an actor. Tautou was a student at in the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris when she was a kid and was a student there from young age she has since renounced her Catholic childhood. She now says she is not a Catholic. Along with her acting career, she pursued a modelling career. It is her turn to be the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and often called The Chanel Muse. In addition to her acting profession, she has an interest in photography. She recently exhibited some of her photographs during the Arles Film Festival with the title Superficial. Her photographs are largely about fame and celebrity. They also feature an assortment of portraits of herself in addition. Audrey Tautou became a star after her international fame was established with her debut role as Amelie Poulain in Le Fabuleux Destination d'Amelie. Amelie achieved international success on the screen and also won numerous awards across all over the world. The film is still the top-grossing French language film to be released in the US. In the years following this film, Tautou appeared in a variety of films, ranging from British dramas and Jean Pierre Jeunet's long Sunday de Faancailles. After that, she shifted to Hollywood and appeared alongside Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
